This chia pudding with berries and yogurt is a refreshing and healthy breakfast. Plus, it’s perfect for those of you who don’t have much time in the morning or just like very quick and easy breakfasts because it takes literally five minutes to put together.
Want to wake up to this nutritious and delish berry and yogurt chia pudding? Simply combine chia with milk and refrigerate overnight and layer it up with yogurt and berries the next morning. I use real milk and yogurt in this recipe, but you can definitely make it dairy-free or vegan by using a plant-based or vegan milk and yogurt. Note that your choice of milk may affect the consistency of the chia pudding, but this recipe is flexible. So, if your pudding is too thick or too thin, feel free to add a bit more milk or chia seeds.
As for toppings, you can be creative with them. I just really like fruit, especially berries, so I often use strawberry yogurt and fresh berries. I think they make a perfect combo, but other fruits/toppings are great too! You can top your chia pudding with pretty much anything you want, it’s hard to go wrong. And the stuff just never fails to live up to its name. Chia pudding is a real pudding! That – first thing in the morning. I, for one, will never say no to pudding for breakfast!
Another thing that’s good to know is that, just like overnight oats, chia pudding will keep in the fridge for about five days. If you prepare the chia pudding five times the recipe and get five cups of yogurt and enough fruit or any other topping you like to last you five puddings, that’s breakfast sorted for a week!
