- 4 strips bacons cut into bite-size pieces
- 4 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 5.291 ounces long beans cut into one-inch long pieces
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Heat a wok over medium heat and fry the bacon until it stars to brown and has released the fat.
Add the garlic and stir until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Toss in the green beans.
Add soy sauce and continue to stir for about 2 minutes. Then, remove from heat and serve with rice or anything else you prefer.
- Do not add any water to the stir fry when cooking. Without water, the long beans will be coated in fat and their texture and shape stay nice longer.
- Long Beans are not to be confused with green beans. But if you can't find them, you can definitely use green beans instead.
- You can use any types of bacon you like or even eggs or other types of meat. Note that if you're not using bacon, you might want to start by heating some oil and frying the garlic. After that, do the meat, beans and soy sauce.
- I highly recommend this brand of soy sauce. However, id you are allergic to soy or do not like soy sauce, feel free to season the stir fry with salt.
