Thai Stir Fried Stink Beans with Pork and Shrimp Recipe
A spicy Thai stir fry with smelly beans, an ingredient with a unique texture and flavor.

- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 tablespoons Thai red curry paste or Southern Thai curry paste
- 5 shrimp peeled and deveined
- 200 grams ground pork
- 300 grams stink beans cut in half
- fish sauce to taste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 6 chilies cut in half
- 6-7 kaffir lime leaves hand-torn
Over medium heat, add the oil to the pan. Once the oil is sizzling, add the curry paste and stir fry it so that it's fragrant.
Add the ground pork and use a spatula to break it into small pieces. If the pan gets dry, add a little bit of water. Once the pork is cooked, add the shrimp.
Toss in the stink beans and season with fish sauce and sugar. Add the chilies and kaffir lime leaves and stir fry for another few minutes before serving.
